Lead Full Stack Engineer

Qardio, is on a mission to make heart health easier, smarter and better for everyone. As a leading brand in the digital health and technology sector, we are hiring an ambitious and experienced Fullstack Engineer to join our team.

The role:

As the Lead Fullstack Engineer, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, maintenance and support of our website and B2C stores. You will work closely with our growth team to bring our website to new heights, running frequent A/B tests and launching successful marketing campaigns. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to bring new features and services into production. 

Successful Candidates will have:

  • 3+ years previous web development experience
  • Expert knowledge of programming architectures and design patterns
  • Expert knowledge and experience with CSS3, HTML5, PHP, JavaScript
  • Experience with Web Application Servers (Apache, Nginx)
  • Expert knowledge with Content Management Systems (WordPress and Shopify)
  • Experience integrating web services and RESTful APIs
  • Actively troubleshoot and support applications in production environments 
  • Comprehensive understanding of source control with branches, tags, and merging (Git preferred)
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design across a range of devices
  • Experience troubleshooting cross-browser compatibility issues
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively on own initiative and explore new technologies and applications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English


  • Experience setting up experiments with A/B testing tools (i.e. Unbounce or Optimizely)
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, and/or other web statistics tools 
  • Expertise in SEO best practices and Web Optimization
  • Experience with Google Search Console, Moz, SEMRush or similar
